King Academics is a first class educational consultancy that guarantees the finest possible academic support for all of the students in its care. Whether this support takes the form of academic tutoring, standardized test preparation, learning enhancement or college guidance, each student will have at his or her disposal the Director and Founder, Mr. Gary King, a highly experienced professional educator who will not only design a set of custom-made strategies for each particular student but who will also ensure that these strategies will successfully guide the student through the rigors of his or her academic pursuits.

King Academics has a Latin motto as part of its logo. “Ipsa Scientia Potestas Est”, means: “Knowledge Itself is Power”. How true - which is why our fundamental mission is to impart knowledge by the most efficient and effective means possible in order to provide every student with the opportunity to be empowered by the tools of specialist knowledge.

King Academics regards individualized private tutoring as an extraordinarily powerful instrument; an instrument that has the unique potential of enabling a student to grow academically, to increase his or her self-esteem and self-confidence and to enjoy the intellectual pursuit of learning. Gary knows only too well how to create an environment that catalyses a student’s intellectual curiosity. Our students will be both challenged and supported and each student will know that they have someone who will both encourage them and inspire them at every step of the way forward.

King Academics offers academic support that complements the work that a student does in school. Gary enjoys the opportunity of working together with school teachers in order to ensure that the goal of each person who is involved with supporting a student is the same: the student’s success. Administrators, teachers, heads of school, college counselors, guidance counselors, and other educational professionals consistently recommend us to their students because we are mutually supportive and as a result we continue to enjoy each other's trust.

King Academics works with students of all abilities and all nationalities. Students with particular learning needs will receive the necessary and expert guidance that such needs require. A student whose first language is not English can be provided with the language skills that will not only enable the student to gain confidence but to also appreciate the finer points of their academic learning. Students who work with Gary have increased motivation and are willing to go the extra mile as far as taking responsibility for their own learning.

King Academics provides regular and consistent feedback to parents so as to ensure that everyone who is concerned about a student’s progress is aware of how that student is proceeding towards specific outcomes and goals. It is essential that the tutor, the student, the teacher and the parent form a mutually supportive team; each one of whom plays a significant part in the learning process.

King Academics strives to instill in its students a life-long love of learning and the skills that will gradually increase personal confidence and academic independence. In this regard we will support students in such a way as to allow each student to reach his or her potential and produce his or her own work. We will not write papers for students not do graded assignments and not do take-home tests or examinations. Gary King will guide and inspire but never take the actual responsibility of learning and doing away from the student. We believe that all students must feel a complete sense of ownership with respect to any work that has been produced for presentation to a teacher at their school or college. In that way we are confident that our very positive and mutually supportive relationship with schools, colleges and universities will always continue.
